NeoStorm is a small, selective breeding programme focused on producing dogs for partnership, not convenience. We prioritise temperament, resilience, and suitability above labels, breeding only when the pairing and the homes align. Our dogs are raised with structure, engagement, and respect for what each breed was designed to do.
Our Breeds
We chose German Shepherd Dogs and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers because both breeds are defined by engagement, intelligence, and their ability to work in partnership with people.
While very different in expression, they share a common requirement for purpose, structure, and meaningful interaction. German Shepherds offer versatility and balance - capable, adaptable dogs with an off-switch, suited to active family life, training, and sport. Tollers, by contrast, are intense, high-drive working dogs that thrive in experienced homes where their energy, sensitivity, and problem-solving ability are understood and channelled.

At NeoStorm, we are drawn to breeds that are mentally present, responsive, and bred to do something, rather than simply exist - and we believe both of these breeds, when bred and placed thoughtfully, exemplify true partnership.

Storm - GSD plans
Simetra Aurora (“Storm”) is bred from established Italian and German bloodlines, sired by VA Tom di Santa Venere (IPO3, Körklasse, HD/ED certified) and out of Princess Arete of Simetra. Storm’s pedigree is built on multiple generations of VA, V, and SG graded dogs, reflecting careful, long-term selection rather than reliance on single headline sires. Her lineage emphasises correct structure, balanced temperament, and versatility, which Storm herself demonstrates through her athleticism, confidence, and engagement in sport. She represents the modern European ideal of a German Shepherd bred for partnership, not extremes.

Simetra Aurora (“Storm”) is a confident, athletic German Shepherd with the temperament and drive for an active life, and she comes from established European lines through her sire VA Tom di Santa Venere, a male recognised at VA level and titled to IPO3, with KKL passed, and health recorded as HD.A (0) / ED (0). Storm herself is proving her versatility as an active working partner, competing in Kennel Club agility.

Benzes Vom Amur
VA2 British Sieger, SG1 (LGZS)
Benzes vom Amur is an SV-bred, DNA-verified male bred under the German Kör- and Leistungszucht system. He is health tested with normal hip and elbow results and has completed breed survey and working titles in accordance with SV regulations. Benzes combines strong conformation with working ability, carrying VA influence on both sire and dam lines through dogs such as VA Cyrus vom Osterberger-Land and VA Sastor vom Hühnegrab. His pedigree reflects a balanced blend of power, structure, and sound temperament, consistent with traditional German show-working lines.

Benzes vom Amur is a powerful, masculine male combining strong conformation with working ability, holding IGP1 and recognised in Germany as SG1 (LGZS). In the UK show scene he has already made a major impact, placing VA2 (Vice Sieger) at the British Sieger 2025, confirming his quality at the highest level of Sieger-style competition in the UK. He is bred from proven European bloodlines (Promo vom Osterberger-Land x Zahel vom Amur).
Storm X Benzes
The decision to pair Simetra Aurora (“Storm”) with Benzes vom Amur was based on balance, compatibility, and long-term outcome rather than individual accolades alone. Both dogs represent complementary strengths within established European bloodlines, and together offer the combination of temperament, structure, and resilience we value in a modern German Shepherd.
Storm brings balance, biddability, and environmental stability. She is a confident, thoughtful bitch with the ability to engage fully in activity and training while retaining an off-switch in everyday life. Her lineage reflects generations of consistent selection, with multiple VA-, V-, and SG-graded dogs within five generations, including some of the most influential German and Italian Sieger-level lines. This depth of heritage contributes to her soundness, emotional sensitivity, and versatility across sport and family life.

Benzes contributes strength, clarity, and proven credentials within the German SV system. He is a DNA-verified, health-tested, breed-surveyed male whose pedigree includes several VA dogs within five generations, some widely regarded as among the most impactful producers of their time. These lines are known not only for presence and type, but for producing dogs with strong nerves, correct movement, and reliable working temperament.

As a pairing, Storm and Benzes complement rather than duplicate one another. Benzes adds firmness, masculinity, and depth of working/show heritage; Storm adds balance, trainability, and adaptability. Together, they represent a deliberate attempt to produce well-rounded German Shepherds - dogs capable of thriving as active family companions, while also being well suited to a range of sports and disciplines for owners who value engagement, structure, and partnership.
